RESOLUTION # 10-101
Resolution to schedule Public Hearing on Zoning Classification for
“Old Library” property.
WHEREAS, The CZ Top building / “Old Library” needs to be zoned so that the owner and the City are both in a position to know how the property can be used, modified, etc., and
WHEREAS, The issue went to the P & Z for discussion at their last meeting, and they have recommended that the property be zoned C-1, “General Commercial”, and
WHEREAS, The City Council must schedule a public hearing before setting or changing zoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule a public hearing to consider the appropriate zoning for the CZ Top / “Old Library” building, after which the Council will move forward with the consideration of an Ordinance to Zone the property under the C-1 “General Commercial” Zoning classification.
