IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #10-131
Resolution to approve the Survey Replat, creating
Parcel 2010-48, 2010-49, 2010-50, 2010-51, and 2010-52.
WHEREAS, A Re-Plat of areas within Greenacre First Addition, as directed by the Jones County Board of Supervisors, has been created, same resulting in the creation of five specific parcels, 2010-48, 2010-49, 2010-50, 2010-51, and 2010-52 , and
WHEREAS, The City Planning and Zoning Board has reviewed the Survey Re-plat creating said parcels and recommended that same be approved by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed the Re-Plat and finds that the Re-platting is not to bring about a change to the boundaries long recognized in the area but rather to correct erroneous legal descriptions of the long recognized parcels, “fixing” if you will many problem legal issues that arise in this area at times of property transfer, and based thereon, that same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the Re-Plat creating parcels 2010-48, 2010-49, 2010-50, 2010-51, and 2010-52.
