RESOLUTION #10-22
Setting up Committee to begin Performance Evaluation process for City Administrator.
WHEREAS, The Monticello City Council previously directed that a committee be set up to discuss and determine the process by which the City Administrator shall be evaluated.
WHEREAS, The process was directed by said action to involve the designation of a committee and objective evaluation standards, and
WHEREAS, After discussion, the Council finds that the committee should be comprised of the following individuals / positions:
Councilmen Yeoman, Merfeld, and Goedken, in addition to four (4) citizens to be appointed by the other three (3) councilmen and the Mayor. Councilmen Sauser and Hodge are to appoint someone from their ward to serve on the committee. Names of citizens so appointed shall be provided to the City Administrator who shall then coordinate with the committee in scheduling a time for them to meet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby direct that the committee, once designated as set forth previously herein, meet for the sole purpose of discussing and determining the process by which the City Administrator shall be evaluated.
