RESOLUTION #10-47
Approving to Hiring of Institute of Public Affairs for training purposes.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa City Attorney Anne Loomis following an investigation she was directed to undertake by the Monticello City Council recommended look into hiring the Institute of Public Affairs to provide mayor/council/staff effectiveness training, and
WHEREAS, Institute of Public Affairs would assist the council in working together at a cost $1,250 plus reimbursement of direct costs, such as mileage, meals and other charges related to the project, and
WHEREAS, Institute of Public Affairs would meet with the mayor, council and city administrator in a work session to identify and discuss strategies to enhance the group’s effectiveness, performance and teamwork.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the hiring of Institute of Public Affairs for training to identify and discuss strategies to enhance the group’s effectiveness, performance and teamwork at a cost of $1,250, plus reimbursement of direct costs, such as mileage, meals and other charges related to the project.
