THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-121
Approving Contract for Engineering Services between Snyder and Associates and the City of Monticello for services and expenses related to the construction of the Monticello Airport Terminal Building.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council has taken steps to move forward with the construction of the Monticello Airport Terminal Building, and
WHEREAS, Snyder and Associates designed the building, prepared documents related to bidding on the project, and submitted documents to the FAA for approval, which includes fees related to construction supervision and observation, and
WHEREAS, the FAA has authorized funds within the AIP Grant for purposes of construction supervision and observation, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that it is appropriate to have a professional engineering firm involved during the course of the project to ensure that the project is built consistent with the project plans and specifications.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 30th day of August 2011, that the Contract for Engineering Services between the City of Monticello and Snyder and Associates is hereby approved and the Mayor Pro Tem is hereby directed to execute same on behalf of the Monticello City Council.
