IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-135
Approving 2nd Street Lighting Plan and Fixture Design.
WHEREAS, The City Council previously approved moving forward with decorative “period” lighting as part of the 2nd Street Reconstruction project, and
WHEREAS, After review by the contractor and City Engineer a layout and lighting proposal has been received, a copy of same being appended hereto for review, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the layout as proposed, with a total of thirteen (13) fixtures, representing six (6) twins and seven (7) singles located as shown by the attached sketch on Maple, Second, and N. Main Streets, with a design that matches the fixtures installed along S. Cedar Street, is appropriate and should therefore be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Iowa that the Lighting layout and fixture design is approved as disclosed by the attached documents, consistent with the recommendation of the City Engineer.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and caused the Great Seal for the City of Monticello, Iowa to be affixed this 19th day of September, 2011.
