IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 11-140
Approving Bid and Contract with Kremer Electric Company to install Transfer Switches per bid at Water Tower Pump House, Berndes Center,
and Renaissance Center in the amount of $34,765.00
WHEREAS, The City requested bids to install Transfer Switches at the Water Tower Pump House, the Berndes Center, and the Renaissance Center, and
WHEREAS, A bid was received from Kremer Electric Co. to perform said work, said bid being in the amount of $34,765, and
WHEREAS, The City previously borrowed the sum of $102,000 and received a grant in the amount of $3,500 related to Transfer Switch and/or Generator installation efforts.
WHEREAS, The bid appears to meet the needs of the City as specified and funds area available to pursue this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of and accept the bid of Kremer Electric Company in the amount of $34,765 and authorizes the Mayor Pro Tem to enter into a contract with Kremer Electric Company to perform the work set out in the bid and as bid by Kremer Electric Company.
