IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-150
Resolution Approving Final Plat of Yeoman’s 3rd Addition to Monticello, Iowa
WHEREAS, Tom Yeoman has presented a Final Plat to the City of Monticello for approval, same having been reviewed by the City Engineer and the Planning and Zoning Board, and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has recommended that said Plat be approved, notifying the City Council of a few points of conflict between the previously approved Preliminary Plat and plans and the Final Plat and improvements as constructed, to wit: some signage is not installed and seeding on the back of the ROW is not yet complete, and
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the Final Plat and has recommended that it be approved, and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the plat should be approved with the understanding and agreement of the developer to seed the ROW areas in the Spring of 2012 to the satisfaction of the City and to plant a natural buffer behind the warehouse building, between the building and the residentially zoned property to the South, and
WHEREAS, The City Council further finds that the Developer should not be required to install dead end or other signage at the end of the street extension, determining that the street extension is so short that the signage is unnecessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby Approve the Final Plat of Yeoman’s 3rd Addition to the City of Monticello Iowa with the agreement that the Developer will seed the ROW areas in the Spring of 2012 to the satisfaction of the City and will plant a natural buffer behind the warehouse building, between the building and the residentially zoned property to the South.
