The City of Monticello, Iowa
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 11- 166
Setting forth intent to enter into 28E Agreement and Lease Agreement between the City of Monticello and the Fair and Exposition Society of Jones County, Iowa with regard to the construction and operation of the Jones County Youth Development Center on the grounds of the City Park a/k/a Jones County Fairgrounds, and scheduling a public hearing in regard thereto.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello previously agreed to the construction of the Jones County Youth Development Center on the grounds of the City Park and agreed to contribute towards said project, and
WHEREAS, The parties contemplated the drafting and eventual approval of a 28E Agreement and Lease Agreement related to said project, and
WHEREAS, The Council and the Youth Development Center committee have discussed the terms of a 28E Agreement and Lease Agreement, and before approval of same have determined it appropriate to schedule a public hearing on the potential approval of both the 28E Agreement and Lease Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule a public hearing on the proposed 28E Agreement and Lease Agreement related to the Jones County Youth Development Center for the 5th day of December, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting scheduled for that date after which the Council will consider the approval of a Resolution approving both the 28E Agreement and Lease Agreement.
