THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-95
Resolution approving Consultant Services Agreement with regard to the hiring of Pat Callahan, Snyder and Associates, to present and facilitate discussions with the City Council on the issue of “Form of Government”.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Monticello has identified the issue of “Form of Government” as an issue or topic that deserves discussion and consideration by the Council and the citizens of Monticello, and
WHEREAS, That the process of considering all Form of Government options should first be considered by the Council and followed up with a public forum on the topic, and
WHEREAS, The Council approved of the hiring of Pat Callahan as a consultant on the form of government issue at their regular Council meeting of June 6, 2011, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Callahan, through Snyder and Associates, has presented a Consultant Services Agreement, setting out the obligations of both Mr. Callahan and the City of Monticello with regard to the “Form of Government” consultation and review process, same being consistent with Mr. Callahan’s proposal as approved at the last Council meeting.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 20th day of June, 2011, does hereby approve of the Consultant Services Agreement between Snyder and Associates and the City of Monticello.
