IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 12-109
Approving Pay Request #7 to TRICON General Construction in the amount of $251,191.49 related to the Airport Terminal Building Project
WHEREAS, The City previously entered into a contract with TRICON as the General Contractor on the Monticello Airport Terminal Building, and
WHEREAS, Pay Request #7 discloses work performed and materials stored to date in the amount of $251,191.49, and
WHEREAS, The City’s contract with TRICON calls for the City to hold a retainage of 5%, in this case totaling $35,899.82, and
WHEREAS, The City has previously approved Pay Request #1 – #6 in the combined amount of $430,904.99, leaving a present balance due in the amount of $251,191.49, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds, consistent with the contract entered by and between TRICON and the City of Monticello, that the pay request should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve Pay Request #7 in the amount of $251,191.49, and directs the City Clerk to see to said payment.
