IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 12-134
Resolution Scheduling Public Hearing on the proposed sale of City
owned property located at 414 and 416 E. Oak Street.
WHEREAS, The Council previously approved, in principle, the sale of City owned property located at 414 and 416 E. Oak Street to Mike Kraus and Mike Beck who propose to develop ground lying behind the properties proposed to be sold, and
WHEREAS, The City proposes that the properties, currently owned as tenants in common with the Monticello Development Corporation, be sold for the sum of $75,000, pursuant to a real estate contract between the parties, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that a public hearing should be set with notice of same to be published pursuant to law in the Monticello Express.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Monticello does hereby direct the City Administrator to have notice of a public hearing on the proposed sale, of the properties identified herein, for October 15th, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the regular City Council meeting.
