RESOLUTION # 12-22
Authorizing submission of DRA grant requesting $15,000 towards Emergency
Response Center Generator acquisition and installation.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council has been advised that the City of Monticello may only submit one DRA Application per application period under the City Tax ID#, and
WHEREAS, the Library, and City/Admin./Emergency Response Center both wish to submit applications, and
WHEREAS, after being fully advised in regard to the proposals, the Council finds that the City of Monticello 2012 DRA Application should request a $15,000 share in the purchase of a back-up generator to be installed at the City of Monticello Emergency Response Center.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 6th day of February 2012, that the City of Monticello DRA Application shall set forth a funding request in the amount of $15,000 for purposes of purchasing and installing a back-up generator at the City of Monticello Emergency Response Center.
