IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #12-23
Directing staff to hire Advance Construction, Inc. to remove flooring and otherwise
level the floor at the new Senior Center site at the John McDonald Hospital
facility, on a time and material basis not to exceed $1,582
WHEREAS, The City Council previously hired Advance Construction to perform certain work at the new Senior Center to be located at the old hospital building, and
WHEREAS, During the course of that work it became apparent that additional flooring would need to be removed and a cavity in the floor where the removed wall once stood would need to be leveled, and
WHEREAS, Based thereon an estimate was received from Advance to perform said work with the understanding that said work could also be performed on a time and materials basis, and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that Advance Construction, Inc. should be hired to perform the work identified in their estimate on a time and materials basis at a not to exceed cost of $1,582.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby direct the City Administrator to hire Advance Construction, Inc. to perform the work identified in the attached estimate based upon time and materials with a not to exceed cost of $1,582.00.
