IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #12-44
Resolution directing City Administrator to proceed with Annexation of
City Shop property and authorizing Mayor and City Administrator to execute
all documents necessary for that purpose.
WHEREAS, The City has been working on the annexation of properties north of Monticello, specifically Koob’s Garage and the Monticello Machine Shop, between which is located the City Shop, and
WHEREAS, The annexation of the Koob and Machine Shop property is progressing and the Council wishes to clearly state their intention to annex the City Shop property as well, and
WHEREAS, The City Administrator should be directed to move forward with the annexation of the City Shop and the City Administrator and Mayor should be given authority to execute all documents necessary to effect the annexation of the City Shop.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 19th day of March, 2012, that the City Administrator is directed to proceed with the annexation of the City Shop property and the City Administrator and the Mayor are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents associated with and/or necessary to see to the annexation of the City shop property.
