RESOLUTION #12- 60
Approving Mayor’s Decision with regard to Union grievance filed on behalf of
Jeff Ahlrichs.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The Mayor exercised her responsibility of investigating a grievance filed by the Union on Jeff Ahlrichs behalf, and
WHEREAS, As a result of that investigation the Mayor executed a written decision as contemplated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement denying the grievance, said decision being issued by the Mayor on Friday April 20, 2012 and delivered to the City Council on April 20, 2012 for review and consideration at a special council meeting held on April 23, 2012, and
WHEREAS, The City Council reviewed the decision of the Mayor, and finds, for the reasons stated therein that the decision of the Mayor should be approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 23rd day of April, 2012, that the decision of the Mayor denying the grievance filed by the Union on behalf of Jeff Ahlrichs is hereby approved.
