IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #12-67
Approving Change Order in the Increased Amount of $8,000
to Eastern Iowa Excavating related to the 2nd Street Reconstruction Project and repair work associated with Alliant Energy coring of street.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated city within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Eastern Iowa Excavating has contracted with the City to perform the 2nd Street reconstruction project, and
WHEREAS, A request was made of Eastern Iowa Excavating to perform certain repairs to 2nd Street necessitated by the coring of the street by Alliant Energy during the installation of underground wiring within the area of the 2nd Street project, and
WHEREAS, The cost associated with the repairs will be billed to Alliant or taken from the eventual payment by the City to Alliant related to the underground wiring work performed by Alliant on this project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the proposed Change Order in the amount of $8,000 to Eastern Iowa Excavating.
