IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 12-72
Resolution to schedule Public Hearing on Re-Zoning of KIJI (Intlekofer) property located in south part of City limits from C-1 to C-3
WHEREAS, KIJI, through owner Steve Intlekofer has requested that his property be re-zoned to C-3, Highway Commercial, said request being set forth in and part of an Annexation Agreement between the City of Monticello and Steve Intlekofer, and
WHEREAS, The P & Z Board has reviewed the request and has recommended that the parcel be re-zoned and that the Council move forward with the process to accomplish that result, and
WHEREAS, The City Council must schedule a public hearing before setting or changing zoning, which occurs by the consideration and approval of an Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule a public hearing to consider the re-zoning of the KIJI (Intlekofer) property as described herein from C-1 to C-3 for the regular City Council meeting to be held on June 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
