IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #12-78
Approving Eastern Iowa Excavating Pay Request #8 consistent with previously approved Change Order in the Increased Gross Amount of $8,000, $7,600 after retention of retainage, related to the 2nd Street Reconstruction Project
and repair work associated with Alliant Energy coring of street.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated city within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Eastern Iowa Excavating has contracted with the City to perform the 2nd Street reconstruction project, and
WHEREAS, The City Council previously approved a change order related to repairs to 2nd Street necessitated by the coring of the street by Alliant Energy during the installation of underground wiring within the area of the 2nd Street project, and
WHEREAS, The previously approved Change Order in the amount of $8,000 has now been presented for payment, and, after reducing the gross amount due by the contractual retainage, the net amount presently due is $7,600
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve Pay Request #8 in the amount of $7,600 to Eastern Iowa Excavating and Concrete and directs the Clerk to see to the payment of said amount consistent herewith.
