RESOLUTION #13-37
Approving Contract for Engineering Services between Snyder and Associates and the City of Monticello for services and expenses related to the
design phase of the E. 1st Street Bridge project
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council has determined it appropriate to move forward with planning for the replacement of the E. 1st Street Bridge, and
WHEREAS, After consideration of various engineering firms, Snyder and Associates was chosen as the project engineering firm, and
WHEREAS, Snyder has submitted a proposed Engineering Services Agreement for approval by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the fees proposed by the agreement are appropriate and substantially consistent with previously estimated fees and the agreement, as proposed, should be approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 15th day of April 2013, that the Contract for Engineering Services between the City of Monticello and Snyder and Associates is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby directed to execute same on behalf of the Monticello City Council.
