IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #13-88
Resolution to approve Contract Amendment #1 and #2 related to
ECICOG Contract Amendments.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello previously entered into a contractual relationship with ECICOG, whereby they would be tasked with managing the City of Monticello Flood Buy-Outs and be compensated through the buy-out process, and
WHEREAS, The City and ECICOG entered into one agreement related to the Residential buy-out and one agreement related to the Commercial buy-out, and
WHEREAS, The ECICOG employee responsible for the project has ended up committing more time to the Commercial buy out than the Residential buy out and has requested that the two agreements be amended, shifting some of the agreed upon compensation from the residential buy out to the commercial buy out, with the total cost to the City remaining the same, and
WHEREAS, The City finds that the total cost to the City will remain the same, ant that the amendment to the agreements as proposed is appropriate and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of Contract Amendment #1 and #2, by and between the City of Monticello and ECICOG, related to the flood buy outs and authorizes the Mayor to execute same on behalf of the City.
