IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #13-93
Resolution to approve payment to Accent Construction related to 2013-2014
Street Repair Projects.
WHEREAS, the City Council hired Accent Construction to complete various street repairs within the City of Monticello after a bidding process, and
WHEREAS, Accent Construction has completed the Bid Package they were awarded, plus additional work found necessary during the course of some of the repairs, and
WHEREAS, based upon a review of the bid and the actual quantities, the Council finds that the invoice is appropriate and that same should be paid, and
WHEREAS, The Council further finds that the City Clerk should pay the balance of this invoice from TIF as the entirety of the repairs fall within a TIF district and it would therefore be appropriate to satisfy with TIF funds, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the additional work was appropriate and inasmuch as same represents a change to the original specification, the additional work should be specifically approved hereby.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the payment of the invoice submitted by Accent Construction related to the 2013-2014 Street Repair Projects, Bid Package #4 in the amount of $32,261, same to be paid from the City TIF Capital Projects fund.
