IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #14-22
Resolution to approve Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello previously approved the Preliminary and Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 1st Addition and accepted the dedication of all public improvements therein, and
WHEREAS, The Council is now presented with the Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition, same representing the subdivision of a part of Lots 15 and 16 of Breckenridge Estates 1st Addition, and
WHEREAS, The Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition, as presented, does not include or provide for the dedication of any new public improvements, the entirety of Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition being served by infrastructure dedicated and accepted by the City of Monticello as part of Breckenridge Estates 1st Addition, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds, for the above and foregoing reasons that an expedited or truncated approval process is appropriate and that the attachments noted within 166,14 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances are unnecessary under these circumstances, same being appropriate under the circumstance where the City is accepting dedicated public improvements/infrastructure, and
WHEREAS, the Council has been advised that the Planning and Zoning Board has reviewed the Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition and recommends that it be approved, and
WHEREAS, after a review of Final Plat, and in consideration of the Planning and Zoning Board recommendation, the Council finds that the Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the Final Plat to Breckenridge Estates 2nd Addition and authorizes same to be filed with all other necessary documentation, by the developer, Brian Monk.
