IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #14-38
Resolution to approve Agreement between City of Monticello and Snyder &
Associates Re: 190th Street Sanitary Sewer Extension.
WHEREAS, The City Council has entered into a Developers Agreement with Kardes Inc., Beck Construction, Inc. and McDermott Limited Partnership LLLP related to the development of approximately 13 acres of property located across 190th Street from Innovative Ag. Services on Monticello’s south side, and
WHEREAS, The City agreed to see to the installation of a sanitary sewer main in a suitable size and location to serve the development, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds, that in order to fulfill its’ obligation, the City Engineer must be hired to design the necessary infrastructure and assist the City in taking the proposed project to bid.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Engineering Services Agreement between the City of Monticello and the City Engineer, Snyder & Associates, to design and see to the letting of the 190th Street Sanitary Sewer Extension.
IN THE TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and caused the Great Seal for the City of Monticello, Iowa to be affixed. Done this 7th day of April 2014.
