The City of Monticello, Iowa
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #14-61
To Authorize Mayor to execute “Letter of Intent to Meet Conditions” and “Request for Obligation of Funds” related to USDA Grant.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello is participating in the pursuit of funds for purposes of purchasing two heart monitors for the Monticello Ambulance Service, and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello has been approved for a $10,000 USDA Grant for this purpose, and
WHEREAS, With the USDA funding the City has enough funds set aside in the Ambulance Improvement Fund to cover the purchase of said heart monitors, and
WHEREAS, To ensure Grant funding is available without delay, it is necessary for the City to agree to the execution of the “Letter of Intent to Meet Conditions” and the “Request for Obligation of Funds” documents provided by the USDA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve and authorize the Mayor to execute the “Letter of Intent to Meet Conditions” and “Request for Obligation of Funds” provided by the USDA as outlined immediately above herein.
