IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-07
Resolution to amend the Ambulance Director Brian Hahn’s conditions of
employment in regard to residency requirements.
WHEREAS, The Monticello City Council approved the hiring of Brian Hahn by Resolution dated 05.06.2013, and by way of said Resolution also approved of an employment agreement, and
WHEREAS, The Council, as a condition of employment, required the ambulance director to become a resident of the City of Monticello, a condition accepted by Director Hahn, and
WHEREAS, The Director Hahn took up residence in Monticello as required and has been a resident to this date, and
WHEREAS, Director Hahn, for personal reasons unrelated to his position, has determined it to be in his best interests to move from the City limits of the City of Monticello, and has brought that decision to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that Director Hahn has done a good job as Ambulance Director and believes it to be in the best interest of the City to waive the previously imposed residency requirement, permitting Director Hahn to continue in the position of Ambulance Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, The Council hereby waives the requirement that Director Hahn maintain residency within the city limits of the City of Monticello, said requirement no longer being a condition of his employment.
