IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-111
Approving payment of previously withheld retainage to Midwest Concrete LLC related to the 2015 Maple Street Repair project
in the amount of $2,219.29
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated city within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete LLC contracted with the City to perform repairs to Maple Street in the fall of 2015, and
WHEREAS, Said project was previously completed with payment being made but for the retainage, held by the City, in the amount of $2,219.29, and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has recommended that the retainer be paid subject to the receipt of lien waivers from any subcontractors.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve Payment of the retainage to Midwest Concrete LLC in the amount of $2,219.29 related to the 2015 Maple Street Repairs, after the receipt of lien waivers from subcontractors.
