IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-18
Final approval of Plans and Specifications, Form of Contract, and Cost Estimate related to Community Building Renovation project.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held at tonight’s meeting as previously scheduled and published in regard to the plans and specifications, form of contract, and engineer’s cost estimate related to the Community Building Renovation project, and
WHEREAS, the Council, after accepting and hearing comment, if any, finds that the final plans and specifications, form of contract, and cost estimate are consistent with the Council’s intentions with regard to the project, and further recognizes that during the pre-bid and bidding process, the proposed plans may be amended based upon contractor feedback, but that same should be approved subject to potential future changes by addendum, and
WHEREAS, the Council has been informed that a pre-bid meeting was held on April 1, 2015 and that bids will be received on April 7, 2015, with Council consideration and approval to follow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Monticello Council meeting in regular session this 6th day of April, 2015 does hereby approve the plans and specifications, form of contract, and engineer’s cost estimate related to the Monticello Community Building renovation project.
