IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-94
Approving the hiring of Public Works Employee
WHEREAS, The Council has been debating the future of the Monticello Sanitation Service and has decided to contract with a private hauler to collect commercial and industrial waste within the City of Monticello, and
WHEREAS, The PW Department has been short one full-time staff person since the resignation of the Monticello Streets Superintendent, Mark Cigrand, awaiting a decision on the future of the sanitation service, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the position left open by Mark Cigrand’s resignation should be filled and authorizes the City Administrator and PW Director to seek and interview qualified applicants and to thereafter hire a full-time PW employee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the hiring of a full-time PW employee as noted herein and authorizes the City Administrator to work with the PW Director to seek and interview qualified applicants and to thereafter hire a full-time PW employee.
