IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #16-02
Approving Maple Street Condos LLC Tax Abatement Application related to Residential Improvements constructed at 412, 414, 416, 422, and 424 N. Maple Street, Monticello, Iowa.
WHEREAS, Monticello has enacted an Urban Revitalization Tax Abatement program and codified same at Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, Maple Street Condos, LLC has completed and filed an Application for Tax Abatement related to residential improvements located at 412, 414, 416, 422, and 424 N. Maple Street, Monticello, same being five of six condominium units recently constructed by Maple Street Condos, LLC, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed said Application, and finds that the information submitted therein is consistent with that required by the Monticello Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Application for Tax Abatement filed by Maple Street Condos, LLC as set forth above, consistent with Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, said Application bearing the date of December 22, 2015 and being signed by Lloyd Welter and further directs the Monticello City Clerk to file same with the Jones County Assessor as prescribed by law.
