RESOLUTION #16-21
Resolution to approve Amendment to previously approved Standard Professional Services Agreement between Snyder & Associates and City of Monticello, adding provisions associated with engineering design related to additional Main Street improvements, to now include the engineering and design of the improvements related to the rehabilitation of Main Street, from E. South Street on the south and E. 3rd Street on the north
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council has determined it appropriate to proceed with the rehabilitation of Main Street from its intersection with E. South Street to its intersection with E. 3rd Street, and
WHEREAS, The Council previously found that the City Engineer, Snyder & Associates, should be hired to design the majority of said project scope, but has now expanded the project scope and finds that the agreement should be amended to reflect the new project scope, and
WHEREAS, he proposed agreement provides that Snyder & Associates would design the project and handle the bidding and contractual phases of the project with for the fee of $63,756.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 15th day of February, 2016, that the proposed Amendment to the “Standard Professional Services Agreement”, between the City of Monticello and Snyder & Associates related to the S. Main Street rehabilitation project is hereby approved.
