The City of Monticello, Iowa
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 16-37
Accepting Dedication of the Welter Drive right-of-way, same being located within Welter’s First Addition, and of all public improvements located therein
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated City within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello approved the final plat of Welter’s First Addition by Resolution #09-86 dated July 06, 2009, same acknowledging that the public improvements were largely complete at that time, and
WHEREAS, The public improvements located within Welter’s First Addition include a street named Welter Drive, sanitary and water mains, valves, and hydrants, storm sewer improvements, and street lighting, all of same being located within the designated right-of-way of Welter Drive, and having been dedicated to public use and enjoyment by the Developer, and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello finds that the public improvements have been installed to the satisfaction and specification of the City of Monticello as determined by the City Engineer and that same should therefore be accepted as public improvements, to be maintained and preserved by the City of Monticello for the use, enjoyment, and benefit of the citizens of Monticello.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby accept the dedication of all public improvements located within Welter’s First Addition including the street named Welter Drive, sanitary and water mains, valves, and hydrants, storm sewer improvements, and street lighting, all of same being located within the designated right-of-way of Welter Drive, and having been dedicated to public use and enjoyment by the Developer
