RESOLUTION #16-56
Resolution Accepting bids for Tree and Stump removal and
awarding bid to Breeden Tree Service
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello Public Works Dpt. sought bids related to tree removal and stump removal, same to occur in the spring, summer, fall of 2016, and
WHEREAS, Three bids were received, as follows:
Bidder Tree Removal Stump Removal
Randy Muller Tree Service $33,900
Ehrisman Tree Service $23,400
Breeden Tree Service $13,788
Krays Stump Grinding $2,658.95
Rollinger Stump Removal $2,038.50
Breeden Tree Service $1,610.00

WHEREAS, The Council has reviewed the bids and finds it appropriate to accept the bids and to award the Tree Removal and Stump Grinding projects to the low bidder, Breeden Tree Service in the amounts shown above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby accept the bids and does hereby award the Tree Removal project and Stump Grinding project to Breeden Tree Service in the amount of $13,788 and $1,610, respectively.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and caused the Great Seal of the City of Monticello, Iowa to be affixed hereto. Done this 18th Day of April, 2016.
