THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #16-78
Resolution to approve the continuing design of the E. 1st Street Bridge consistent with Design Option #1 as presented by Snyder & Associates, at the estimated construction cost of $850,000
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council has determined it appropriate to utilize federal and City funds to replace the E. 1st Street Bridge over Kitty Creek, and
WHEREAS, Snyder & Associates has prepared and presented various proposed bridge design options, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the Option presented as Option #1 at an estimated construction cost not to exceed $850,000 is adequate and that the Engineer should proceed with the Option #1 design.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 20th day of July, 2016, that the engineer should be and is hereby directed to proceed with the proposed Bridge Design designated as Option #1 at the estimated construction cost of $850,000.
