IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #16-87
Resolution scheduling Public Hearing on proposed Voluntary Annexations
WHEREAS, The City has received a number of Applications for Voluntary Annexations over the years, and
WHEREAS, A number of the properties for which Voluntary Annexation Applications have been received are now contiguous to the City and otherwise in a legal position to be annexed, said properties being generally described as shown on the attached Exhibit A to this Resolution, and
WHEREAS, The Annexation process requires the City to hold a public hearing on the proposed annexations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 15th day of August, 2016 does hereby schedule a public hearing on the proposed annexation of the properties identified herein, said public hearing to be set for the 6th day of September, 2016 at 6 p.m.
