The City of Monticello, Iowa
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #16-91
To approve drafting of Field Preparation and Maintenance Agreement between City of Monticello and Bud and Georgia Johnson related to Jaycee and Kleinow Fields.
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed a proposal from Bud Johnson to take over maintenance and operation of the Jaycee and Kleinow Fields, the care and maintenance of same previously being in the hands of the MYBSA, and
WHEREAS, After consideration of the proposals set forth by Bud Johnson, the Council finds that an agreement should be drafted which incorporates those terms and any other miscellaneous terms deemed advisable, and
WHEREAS, The aforementioned agreement shall be brought back to the City Council for final approval at the Council meeting of September 19th.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby direct the City Administrator to draft an agreement between Bud Johnson and the City of Monticello related to the oversight and operation of Jaycee and Kleinow fields same to be substantially consistent with the terms and provisions proposed by Bud Johnson to the City Council.
