IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION 16-97
Approving Community Building Rental Rates
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa currently rents the upstairs of the Community Building to residents and non-residents at the rate of $75.00 per day with a deposit of $300.00 and requires the completion of a rental application with proof of insurance as set forth within said Application, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds it appropriate to increase the rental rates, the deposit amount, and to have two fee schedules, one for citizens of Monticello and one for non-residents of Monticello as follows:
Resident Non-Resident
Daily Rent $100 $250
Deposit $500 $1,000
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the increased rental rates as set forth in the body of this Resolution and directs staff to begin to collect said rental and deposit rates from this date forward from all those persons from whom rent is to be collected in relation to the use of the Community Building.
