IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #17-109
To Schedule Public Hearing on consideration of Development Agreement
between the City of Monticello and B & J Hauling & Excavation, Inc
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello is contemplating the entry into a development agreement with B & J Hauling & Excavation, Inc in relation to a demolition and reconstruction project at 218 W. 1st Street, and
WHEREAS, The Council is concurrently considering amendments to the Urban Renewal Area and Urban Renewal Plan, and
WHEREAS, A public hearing must be scheduled prior to the approval of a Development Agreement, and, as a Public Hearing is currently set on the Urban Renewal Plan and Area Amendments for October 2, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. it is appropriate to schedule a Public Hearing on the proposed Development Agreement at that time as well.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council in session this 18th day of September, 2017 that a Public Hearing is hereby scheduled for the 2nd day of October, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting, same to be held in Council Chambers at the Monticello Renaissance Center, at which time the Council will consider the approval of the proposed Development Agreement.
