IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #17-26
Scheduling Public Hearing on the Re-Zoning of Properties located
at 322 W. 4th Street, 525 S. Maple Street, and the
corner of E. Washington and S. Cedar Streets
WHEREAS, The Monticello Code of Ordinances requires that a Public Hearing be held before the zoning of a property is changed, and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello recently received requests from the owner of the above properties to re-zone said properties, two from R-1 to R-2 and one from C-1 to R-1, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that a Public Hearing should be set on this request for April 3, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule a Public Hearing on the proposed re-zoning of the properties set forth within the body of this Resolution for the 3rd day of April 2017 at 6:00 p.m. to be held in the City Council Chambers at the Mary Lovell LeVan Renaissance Center in Monticello, Iowa.
