IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #19-120
Resolution to schedule Public Hearing on proposed Sale of City owned property located adjacent to Jaycee / Kleinow fields
WHEREAS, The City Council previously agreed to accept bids on City owned property near Jaycee Kleinow fields, and
WHEREAS, The City has received two bids/proposals related to the property and based thereon finds that a Public Hearing should be scheduled on the proposed sale of the property, and
WHEREAS, At the Public Hearing, the Council will receive and consider public input related to the potential sale of said property, and the Council will decide whether or not to sell the property, to sell a portion of the property, or to not sell the property at all and the conditions, if any, tied to the Council decision.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 3rd day of September, 2019 that a Public Hearing on the proposed sale of City owned property near Jaycee Kleinow fields should be scheduled for the 7th day of October, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., with notice to be published in the Monticello Express as required by the Iowa Code.
