IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #2020-153
Resolution Scheduling a Public Hearing related to the Status of Funded Activities for the 2020 CDBG OT Grant Award for December 21, 2020 at 6:00 pm
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello had applied and was awarded the 2020 CDBG OT Grant Award for funding to purchase a UV Disinfecting Lamp for the Monticello Ambulance Service and Accountability Software and Equipment for the Monticello Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, The City applies for grants from time to time for Federal Funding and in many cases the grants request a Public Hearing to be held to discuss the status of the funding, and
WHEREAS, The Council is required to hold a Public Hearing for the CDBG grant in the amount of $2,295.00 to purchase a UV disinfecting light for the ambulance service and Accountability Software and Equipment for the Fire Department. Public Hearing notice to be published scheduling hearing to be held on December 21, 2020 at 6 PM.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 7th day of December does hereby schedule a Public Hearing to be held on December 21, 2020 at 6 PM, related to the CDBG grant in the amount of $2,295.00 to purchase a UV disinfecting light for the ambulance service and Accountability Software and Equipment for the Fire Department and furthermore directs notice of hearing to be published no more than 20 days or no less than 4 days from the date of the public hearing.
