IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 2020-37
Adoption of Budget and Certification of City Taxes for Fiscal Year July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated City within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, City Council published notice of and held a public hearing on the proposed budget; and
WHEREAS, The City Staff has prepared the FY 2021 annual budget, as set forth in the budget summary certificate, requirement schedules, resource detail, showing estimates and appropriations for said fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, The City Council directs the overall budget be approved as published; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Monticello, Iowa does hereby adopt the annual budget for FY 2021 and direct the City Clerk to make the filing required by law and set up the books in accordance with the adopted budget summary.
