IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #2021-27
Resolution Approving Purchase of SB200 – 66” Snowblower and 72” Snow Blade for City Toolcat from Bobcat of Cedar Rapids
WHEREAS, the City Council was informed that the current City Snow blower does not operate to its full capacity on the toolcat or skidloader and would cost approximately $3,200 to have it potentially work on both pieces of equipment, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Director informed the Council that he has looked into various models to replace the current snow blower, and after doing so recommends that the Council approve the purchase of a SB 200 Snowblower, 66” width, hydraulic package and a 72” Snow Blade, in the amount of $6,430.36, and
WHEREAS, the council finds the proposed equipment and pricing to be appropriate and, therefore, finds that the equipment as indicated and as recommended by the Park and Recreation Director should be ordered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the purchase of the SB200 – 66” Snowblower and 72” Snow Blade for City Toolcat from Bobcat of Cedar Rapids as noted in their quote.
