RESOLUTION #2026-127
Approving the purchase of a 4-wheel drive, regular cab,
with a long box pickup, not to exceed $25,000
WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved the budget to purchase of truck for the cemetery, and
WHEREAS, Public Works Director recommends purchasing a 4-wheel drive, regular cab pickup, with a long box pickup, not to exceed $25,000, and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has located pickup that meet the specification, but sell prior to the Council meeting to approve the purchase, and
WHEREAS, the council finds the proposed truck and pricing to be appropriate and, therefore, authorizes the Public Works Director to purchase a pickup for the cemetery that meets the specifications listed above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby authorize the Public Works Director to purchase a pickup for the cemetery that meets the specifications listed above.
