RESOLUTION #2026-57
Approving the hiring of a Monticello Ambulance
EMT/AEMT and setting wage
WHEREAS, a Monticello Full-Time Ambulance EMT/AEMT position has been open since EMT/AEMT Sky Monty stepped down to part-time, and,
WHEREAS, Ambulance Director Lori Lynch recommends promoting existing part-time EMT/AEMT Cora Wheeler to full-time EMT/AEMT and wish to offer her the position, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has set forth starting wages for AEMTs at $24.79 per hour, and
WHEREAS, The City Administrator recommends promoting existing part-time EMT/AEMT Cora Wheeler to full-time EMT/AEMT and
WHEREAS, The Council finds it appropriate to follow the recommendation of the Ambulance Ambulance Director and the City Administrator, and further finds that the wages set by previous resolution are fair and reasonable and should, therefore, be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, The Council hereby authorizes promoting existing part-time EMT/AEMT Cora Wheeler to full-time EMT/AEMT with a starting wage of $24.79.
