RESOLUTION #09-114
Resolution to approve publication of Advertisement for Bids related to the
Public Safety Building, a/k/a Emergency Response Center.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello has previously held a legally noticed public hearing on the final plans and specifications related to the Public Safety Building a/k/a Emergency Response Center, same being held on July 20, 2009, after which the Plans and Specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the Public Safety Building, a/k/a Emergency Response Center were approved, and
WHEREAS, The plans and specifications for said project, as approved, have been complete and on file with the City Clerk’s Office, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds it appropriate and proper to publish the Advertisement for Bids, a copy of same being attached hereto, same, by this reference, incorporated within this Resolution as if set forth fully verbatim herein, related to the Public Safety Building, a/k/a Emergency Response Center, with bids to be received by the City of Monticello Clerk’s Office by no later than 2:00 p.m. on September 16, 2009, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the publication of Advertisement for Bids related to the Public Safety Building, a/k/a Emergency Response Center, with bids to be received by the City of Monticello Clerk’s Office by no later than 2:00 p.m. on September 16, 2009, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
