RESOLUTION 09-155
Approving three year extension of mowing contract between Steve and Lisa Monk, independent contractors, under the same terms and conditions as set forth within the original contract signed and dated November 15, 2004, and extended by Resolution 06-137 on September 13, 2006.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello previously entered into a contract with Steve Monk and Dan McDonald, entitled “Mowing Service Agreement”, same being signed and dated on the 15th day of November 2004, and
WHEREAS, the contract term expiration date was December 31, 2006, and
WHEREAS, the above contract was continued for an additional three year period by Resolution dated 9-13-2006, and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has offered to continue to provide the same scope of services as set forth within the original contract, subject to the same terms and conditions, for an additional three (3) year term, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the City’s best interest to agree to the proposed three (3) year extension of the above-referenced contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 2nd day of November 2009, that the Mowing Service Agreement between the City and the Monks, previously described herein, shall be renewed by and between the City and the Monks for an additional three (3) year period under the same terms and conditions as set forth therein. The Parties to said agreement shall execute a new copy of the agreement following the entry of this Resolution.
