IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 12-87
Approving investment in Lion’s Club Shelter / Food Stand at
the City Park in the amount of $3,700
WHEREAS, The City Council has been approached with a request for funding from the City to help coverage overages in project costs associated with the Lion’s Club food stand addition and renovations, and
WHEREAS, The Council has considered the request and finds that the Lion’s Shelter and Food Stand is of benefit to the City Park and is used by many during the course of the year, and finds it appropriate to invest in the current renovations in the amount of $3,700.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of investment in the Lion’s Shelter and Food Stand at the City Park in the amount of $3,700 and directs that payment be made to the Lion’s Club in that amount.
