RESOLUTION #13-68
Approving Standard Professional Services Agreement, Amendment No. 1 between Snyder and Associates and the City of Monticello for services and expenses related to the Final Design Services for the E. 1st Street Bridge project
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council previously determined it appropriate to move forward with planning for the replacement of the E. 1st Street Bridge and after consideration of various engineering firms chose Snyder and Associates as the project engineering firm, and
WHEREAS, Snyder has submitted preliminary plans and now proposes to enter in to an Amendment to the original agreement, the Amendment providing for services related to Final Design Services, and
WHEREAS, the agreement provides for fees in the lump sum amount of $43,287, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds it appropriate to approve the proposed amendment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 5th day of August 2013, that the proposed “Standard Professional Services Agreement, Amendment No. 1, is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby directed to execute same on behalf of the Monticello City Council.
