RESOLUTION #13-70
Resolution to approve IAS Building Permit for installation of 2nd Anhydrous Tank.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello has been presented with an Application for a Building Permit related to the installation of an anhydrous ammonia tank on property owned by IAS within the City Limits of the City of Monticello, and
WHEREAS, The Mayor sought comment from those in attendance and the Council generally discussed the proposed project, and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the permit should be granted, that the proposed action is permitted by our Code of Ordinances and that the proposed location of the improvement is clearly within the boundaries of the IAS parcel and meets all setbacks.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 19th day of August, 2013, that the Building Permit Application submitted by IAS in regard to the installation of a 2nd Anhydrous ammonia tank on their property is fully compliant with the Monticello Code of Ordinances, that no objections have been received in relation to this proposed project, and that the proposed application is therefore approved.
